Overview
We are pleased to present you our Rome, wine, dine and Pompeii tour. We have carefully thought up this tour to take you, accompanied by one of our archaeologists, to the most beautiful archaeological and interesting locations. Rome or Caput Mundi as an icon needs little introduction, but if you have never visited, it will be our pleasure to make Rome’s past come alive for you.
As the title of this tour states, we will not let you go home without having seen one of the world’s most interesting and important sites, Pompeii and the archaeological museum of Naples which holds many Greek and Roman artefacts from Pompei and Herculaneum.
Apart from showing and explaining you these amazing sites we will also take care of the eno-gastronomic aspect during your stay as we will lunch and dine in carefully selected restaurants and trattorias. Our company has a 10-year experience as online dining guide for high level restaurants in Rome and Italy. Depending on the season we will make sure to let you taste typical Italian or local delicacies.
One day of your tour we will dedicate to an easy walk in the Latium countryside where you will walk in idyllic surroundings on an ancient forgotten Roman road to end up in an abandoned Roman city where we will have a picnic waiting at the forum of this ancient town.

At the museum we will see Roman and Greek art and other interesting finds from Pompei, you can also visit the secret cabinet (Gabinetto Segreto) which holds the collection of erotic art in Pompeii and Herculaneum.
